She began her acting career in Punjabi films, such as Leather Life, Sadda Haq, and Jeet Jangey Jahaan.

Early Life
Khurana was born in Kiratpur Sahib, Punjab. Her zodiac sign is Sagittarius. Her parents are Kuldeep and Sumeet Khurana. She has two brothers, Hiltesh Khurana and Apram Deep.
Her father wanted her to become a nurse, but she was always more interested in art. She grew up in is Ludhiana, Punjab, where she completed her schooling from BCM Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana, where she studied medical science.
She considers her mother as a strong motivation in her life. One day, when she was 11 years old, one of her family’s friends took some photos of her and realized how photogenic she was. He then suggested she tried modeling, and that is how everything started.

After becoming Miss Ludhiana in 2009, she entered another competition a year later, which she also won.
Her music career started in 2010, with a debut music video called Kuldeep Manak’s ‘Jodi- Big Day Party.’ She took part in other famous music videos, such as Soch, Taara, Insomnia, and Maan Bharya.
A few years later, in 2012, she was offered to enter the movie industry with the film Jeet Lenge Jahan. However, her popularity increased drastically after competing in a TV show Bigg Boss 13.

In January 2024, when she came out of Bigg Boss house, the actress announced that her relationship has ended.
Himanshi is currently dating her Bigg Boss co-contestant, Asim Riaz.
Controversies
In 2019, the actress went into a war of words with the Punjabi model Shehnaz Kaur Gill. It all began with an interview, in which Shehnaz was asked to name a song she disliked. To that question, she replied, ”I Like It” by Himanshi Khurana. Them, she even posted a video on Instagram in which she called Khurana a flop. The actress was so frustrated that she went live through her Instagram account and accused the model of being in a relationship with several guys, her brother. The war did not end there, since the two released the songs targetting each other.
